Friday, March 31, 2023 9:26AM CDT The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management released a sweeping plan to change how the agency oversees 245 million of acres of federal land that would allow 10-year conservation leases, similar to grazing, timber harvest, mining, energy production and recreation leases. The Public Lands Council said the proposal would jeopardize BLM's relations with ranchers.

May corn is unchanged, May soybeans are up 2 cents, and May KC wheat is down 4 cents.
Both live cattle and feeder cattle were higher across the board Thursday. Traders found solid footing with feedlots able to see cash trade $4.00 to $5.00 higher. Hogs struggled somewhat throughout the day with most of futures contracts posting gains at the close as traders positioned for the report.
